In this episode, listen to Omar talk about his journey as an undergraduate and graduate student studying Spanish within the Modern Languages Department before going into law school to become an attorney. Hear him describe his experiences as a student at UCF and the impact of mentorship from professor Dr. Humberto Lopez. Omar shares stories about the many adventures he has been on since graduation. He also gives advice to students on how to take the first steps to study abroad while talking about his own experiences studying abroad in Spain and England. Omar graduated from UCF in 2003 with his B.A in Spanish and in 2005 with his M.A in Spanish. He is currently a licensed attorney within the Central Florida area and has been managing his own firm for eight years with a focus on family, bankruptcy, civil litigation, and immigration law.
