In this episode, you'll hear from Dr. Kerry Purmensky, a professor in TESOL in the Modern Languages and Literatures Department at UCF. Learn about her diverse teaching experiences and her journey from a social studies teaching certification in Illinois to teaching English in Egypt, South Korea, and the Czech Republic. She shared how teaching abroad led her to pursuing an MA in TESOL and later her Ph.D.  Kerry also discussed her involvement with the Florida Prison Education Project, which provides English classes to inmates.
