Abstract, Summary, or Creative Statement
When our group reflected upon our values, we found that we wanted to give back like those who once gave to us. This shared belief led us to volunteer with L.O.V.E Our Youth Inc., an organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering youth. We wanted to engage with teens directly and help spread the importance of having spaces just for teens. From this experience, we learned that these safe spaces can allow teens to be comfortable being themselves in front of a supportive community. We also discovered the significance of reflecting upon your values to produce a change around you.
