Her publications include topics such as library instruction, LBGTQ collection development, use of multicultural Cinderella versions in elementary schools, ADA resources for librarians, intellectual freedom, librarian stereotypes in YA Literature, and KY education reform. Her 2010 edited book with Dr. Nahyun Kwon, is entitled Multicultural Programs for Tweens and Teens, published by YALSA. This book is a professional resource for librarians and includes programs showcasing the work of past students in her class who are now practicing librarians in Florida and nationwide.
