APOLLO 10 ONBOARD FILM. Orient with small crater at upper left and large crater at lower right. These near-vertical telephotos of the crater Godin, located at 10.5 degrees east longitude and 1.8 degrees north latitude, were taken from the Apollo 10 Command and Service Module from an altitude of about 110 kilometers (60 nautical miles) above the Moon. The crater Godin lies in the highlands between the Sea of Tranquility and the Central Bay. Godin is approximately 30 kilometers (18 statute miles) in diameter. Its small neighbor to the south, Godin B, is about 11 kilometers (7 statute miles) in diameter.
