Description
This collection of medical remedies includes salves, potions and even surgery for a cleft palate. While some remedies mentions elves, night goblins and devils, others challenge popular stereotypes about medieval medicine. An eye salve described in this collection has been texted in modern laboratory conditions and has proved effective against the antibiotic-resistant bacterium MRSA.
