Due to their low cost, light weight, and mechanical flexibility, organic photovoltaics (OPVs) may offer a promising future for alternatives to Si-based solar cells. One of the most promising organic solar cells is the one based on a bulk heterojunction (BHJ) of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and [6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM)
