Abstract
This disclosure describes a new, low cost modular storm protection system. The invention is a metal channel bracket/track which would allow multiple pieces of standardized plywood or other structural sheathing to be stacked vertically so as to cover a building opening to provide protection against storm damage. The track would be formed in an "h" pattern as shown in the attached drawing. The ends would be flat with a hole to acconnodate a fastener. The width of the bracket would standardized to accommodate common sheathing thickness. Lengths would be such that they would accommodate standard opening widths. Each end of the track would contain a pin to prevent lateral sliding.
