Description of Services
Every month, the Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation has an educational lecture or event for caregivers to learn things like what to do if mom won't take a shower, or what to say when dad thinks his daily medication is poison, or how to get rid of that ominous figure standing outside of the window. The education series consists of Fall and Spring lectures "Basics of Caregiving and More" with Janet Steiner, Fall and Spring "Caregiver Education & Resource Program" with Barbara Borman, Caregiver Cafes, Virtual Dementia Tours, Caregiver's "HI" Tea, and the Fearless Caregiver Conference. Each event gives caregivers an opportunity to learn and share, and strives to provide all who attend peace of mind.
