Description of Services

Florida Hospital's Hospice of the Comforter assists caregivers of terminal loved ones with respite care, support and training, companionship, volunteers to run errands, among other things. Care is provided either in home or at a skilled/assisted living facility. Patient care is also available for uncontrolled pain, nausea, vomiting, and crisis situations.

Medicaid/Medicare/Private Insurances do pay for services however if patients are enrolled they will provide services regardless of ability to pay as they are a non-profit organization.
