Description of Services

The Safehouse of Seminole County functions as a temporary home away from home. It is an emergency shelter for women and children who no longer feel safe at home. The shelter is a secure, confidential location. Individuals and families work with a Social Change Advocate that determines their needs and length of stay. Safety planning, food/clothing, housing assistance, employment resources and court advocacy is provided.
