    Description of Services

    Volunteers in Motion provides transportation to and from grocery stores and also assists passengers with shopping and unpacking groceries in their homes. All aspects of the program including dispatchers, schedulers, drivers, and escorts are run solely by volunteer assistance. Medicaid has various programs. Transportation services for Medicaid beneficiaries is a federally mandated service and is carried out by the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged.
