A Safe Haven for Newborns helps pregnant women throughout their pregnancy and after the baby is born. They assist mothers through the entire “Safe Haven” process, including instructions on appropriate “Safe Haven” facilities such as hospitals and fire stations. An agent of A Safe Haven for Newborns may take a newborn to a Safe Haven facility, when it is the only option to ensure the safety of the baby. They provide education and connect pregnant women and mothers with community resources.
