Tobacco trained specialist
The Central Florida Area Health Education Center is a non-profit organization that serves the remote and medically underserved populations of all Counties in Florida. They offer two different programs for those who want to attend a face to face class for smoking cessation. The classes are called Tools to Quit and Quit Smoking Now. The classes teach the participants the harmful effects tobacco use causes on health, the benefits of quitting, as well as what to expect when quitting through the help of a certified Tobacco Cessation Specialist. Participants will be able to brainstorm ways to cope with the withdrawal process.
