Abstract
The first separation process in the kidneys occurs in the glomerulus where the blood plasma is filtered from the larger protein and blood cells. It is the object of this thesis to: 1) Simulate the volume flow equation (1) through the capillary vasculate of the kidney with the analog computer, and 2) Show quantitatively as well as qualitatively the effect of various parameter changes on the volume flow rate.
