Title
Choosing A Nonlinear Crystal: Recent Advances In Materials Science Have Led To More Efficient Nonlinear Crystals.
Abstract
Some general hints for selection guidance, based on data for crystals available today, comprise the bulk of this article. Applications of nonlinear crystals for frequency conversion for both high-power lasers, such as Nd:YAG, and low-power lasers, such as diode-pumped solidstate lasers, will be discussed, as will recent progress with BBO crystals.
