Title
Improving Library Services For Nursing Students In An Academic Library
Abstract
An analysis of circulation in an academic library revealed that the nursing collection was heavily used. A special allocation to relieve the stress was made, and further analysis done to identify specific use areas within the classification, this was followed by a survey of nursing students, with technical writing Students serving as a control group. The survey revealed that nursing students used the library more often than did the others, but were dissatisfied with the collection. Proposals for improvement of library services to nursing students are advanced. © 1988 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
