Title
Development Of A Photovoltaic Tracking Test Facility.
Abstract
A description is given of the design, construction and installation cost and criteria of the tracking test facility recently established at the Florida Solar Energy Center. The purpose of the test facility is to quantify the cost/benefit ratio of PV tracking systems in the southeast by testing on a side-by-side basis, flat-plate photovoltaic modules and systems. The FSEC test is outlined and acquisition, construction and installation costs of the FSEC facility are given.
