Tenure in nursing education: How are we doing?
Abstract
Deans and directors of collegiate nursing schools in the southern United States were surveyed to assess the rates of success with which nurse educators achieve tenure and the characteristics of successful tenure candidates. Results and criteria are presented relative to the research emphases of the educational organizations.
