Title
Optical Generation And Self Subharmonic Injection Locking Of Tunable 10-100 Ghz Microwave/Millimeter Signals
Abstract
The ability to generate microwave/millimeter signals greater than 100 GHz from two-section distributed feedback (DFB) lasers is demonstrated. Frequencies up to 90 GHz are measured by optical downconversion. Linewidth reduction to subhertz using self sub-harmonic locking is also possible.
