A Novel Resonant-Cavity Intensity Modulator With Pure Linear Response
Abstract
A resonant cavity interferometric intensity modulator with pure linear response is proposed and the first experimental demonstration is presented. This modulator has multigigahertz bandwidth and potentially infinite spurious free dynamic range. © 2009 IEEE.
