Semiconductor Based Optical Frequency Comb Source With Optical Linewidth ≪1 Khz
Abstract
A low noise, frequency stabilized, semiconductor based, 10.287 GHz actively mode-locked laser is reported with optical linewidth <1 kHz, optical frequency instability of ∼150 kHz and integrated timing jitter (1Hz-100MHz) of 3fs. © 2009 IEEE.
