Title
Object Orientation Vs. Real-Time Systems - Response To Alan C. Shaw'S Contribution
Abstract
Object oriented technologies are making a tremendous impact in software and systems development. It is not clear, however, whether engineers doing real-time systems development can benefit from these technologies to the same extent as other application areas. The issues in object oriented technologies that are either controversial or questionable are discussed.
