Dramatic Impact Of Two Photon Absorption On Multi Soliton Excitation In Non-Critically Phase-Matched Biaxial Crystals
Abstract
We demonstrate experimentally and numerically that strong two photon absorption affects multiple quadratic soliton generation by high power 2D beams in a Type-I biaxial crystal (KNbO3). Simulations are in a good agreement with the experiment. ©2001 Optical Society of America.
