Angle Dependent Switching Of Granular And Multilayer Perpendicular Media
Abstract
Angle dependent switching of granular and multilayer perpendicular media was investigated. The Stoner-Wohlfarth character of granular perpendicular media reduced the high field effectiveness of the pole head with soft underlayer write head designs. It aided the transition definition in the low field tail of the head field gradient.
