Title
Remote Operation Of An Axial Turbofan Windtunnel Via The World Wide Web
Abstract
The National Instruments programming language LabVIEW as an effective tool for designing and implementing Data Acquisition and Control Systems, including remote access and control via the World Wide Web is discussed. The TS 9005 wind tunnel was successfully converted from a manually controlled system to a programmatically controlled one. The client application, running on a computer with Internet access, was able to connect to the host computer and control the operation of TS 9005. The client was also able to display the data acquired from the DAQ systems as it ran on the host system.
