Title
Effect Of Mutual Coupling In Adaptive Arrays
Keywords
Adaptive arrays; Moment method; Mutual coupling
Abstract
In this paper, the effect of mutual coupling on adaptive array antenna is investigated. Through an example of a two-element dipole array, it is shown that the effect of the mutual coupling is detrimental on adaptive array and can not be neglected. A method proposed in the literature to compensate for the effect of mutual coupling is tested and applied successfully.
