Abstract
The University of Central Florida's Curriculum Materials Center acquired a number of sciencerelated instructional materials which were to be cataloged and added to the collection. Nearly all of the items were threedimensional artifacts (including games, models, and toys). Most of these items did not have records on OCLC and required original cataloging. Processing methods needed to be imaginative, and suitable containers were often obtained from lessthantraditional sources. © 2002, MCB UP Limited
