Title
Myths About Crew Resource Management Training
Abstract
The misconceptions surrounding the designing, implementation and evaluation of team training effectiveness are discussed. To reduce accidents related to human error in the aviation community a team training program called crew resource management (CRM) is introduced. The purpose of CRM is to maximise the use of available resources so as to avoid and manage errors. The evolution of CRM training and the myths surrounding it are also discussed.
