Practical Image Rejection For Single Branch Bpsk Receivers
Abstract
An efficient digital image suppression technique for binary phase shift keying receivers based on independent component analysis is presented. It requires only one antenna and single downconversion path. As a result, the receivers complexity is much lower than that of quadrature or dual-antenna receivers. Simulation results confirm that the performance of the simplified receiver is comparable to other more complex receivers.
