Title
A Survey Of Merging Techniques And Tools For Ontologies
Abstract
Merging ontologies is an important domain of knowledge engineering. A number of tools were developed by different research groups in order to automate this process. In this paper we survey five ontology merging techniques and tools: OBSERVER [1], ONION [2], FCA-Merge [3], PROMPT [4], and Chimaera [5] and compare them against a common set of evaluation criteria.
