Title
Compact Semiconductor-Based Chirped-Pulse Amplification Laser System
Abstract
A compact chirped pulse amplification laser was developed based on fiber pigtailed semiconductor gain elements and chirped fiber Bragg gratings. The shoebox sized system produced 10 pJ, 1 MHz pulsetrains, amplified to 7 rJ with inclusion of EDFA.
