Title
Displaced Fock States And Photon Correlations In Glauber-Fock Photonic Lattices
Abstract
In quantum mechanics, a displacement in phase space of the ground state of the harmonic oscillator generates a coherent state [1]. Average positions and momenta of these minimum-uncertainty states describe the motion of a classical oscillator, thereby building an important bridge to classical mechanics. In a similar fashion, more general states can be obtained when higher eigenstates of the oscillator (Fock states) are displaced [2]. © 2011 IEEE.
