Title
Optical Manipulation In Strongly Scattering Suspensions
Abstract
We demonstrate theoretically and experimentally optical-force-induced nanoparticle shock-waves forming in strongly scattering colloidal-suspensions. These directional 'spear-shaped' wavefronts allow writing 3-dimensional concentration profiles, inducing local phase transitions, and manipulating condensed nanoparticle 'balls' deep inside light diffusing suspensions. © OSA 2012.
