Measurement Of Second Hyperpolarizability And Nuclear Rotational Response Of Gas-Phase Carbon Disulfide
Abstract
We use nonlinear beam deflection to separate the bound-electronic and nuclear-rotational responses in gas-phase CS2. This allows a direct comparison of the second hyperpolarizability to our liquid CS2 measurements considering local-field effects.
