Abstract

Measuring performance of destinations is a complicated yet potentially important issue for many destinations.Current metrics of destination performance based on growth rates do not provide sufficient information about destination competitiveness and sustainability in the global market.The study suggests a more meaningful performance measurement based on value generating processes at the destination level.
