Abstract
Webinar for the Tampa Bay Library Consortium (TBLC)
Have you attended multiple webinars and trainings on accessibility and feel a little overwhelmed with information and resources? Join me as we focus on specific strategies for making your library instruction materials accessible. Rather than offering generalized information about web accessibility, this presentation will address accessibility issues related to specific types of instructional materials, including presentation slides, LibGuides, and videos. In this session, we’ll discuss
- Interpreting common accessibility standards and vocabulary
- Creating an inventory to help plan your approach to updating materials
- Specific tools to help you evaluate and improve the accessibility of instructional materials.
