Photo Description
Four students talking in front of Howard Phillips Hall. Phillips Hall was originally known as the 'Classroom Building' (not to be confused with the current Classroom Building I on the North side of campus.) It was dedicated to Howard Phillips in 1981. Howard Phillips (1902 - 1979) was a prominent Orlando businessman and philanthropist, and the son of "Doctor Phillips", the former orange grove magnate, who has a neighborhood in Southwest Orlando named after him.
