Dr. Francis Moodie had the idea of establishing a Baptist college for girls in Florida. The Florida Baptist Convention took on his idea and later joined with Henry DeLand in establishing a college in DeLand which would become Stetson University. Moodie was an original trustee of the University.

A typed note on front reads: "This room, in the southeast wing of Flagler Hall, was completely equipped as would be a real courtroom. Real court sessions, as well as classroom exercises were held in the court, in order to give the law students practical training." The back of the photo has a railway timetable for Hartford, CT.
