The first of four Mobile Quarantine Facilities (MQF) for returning lunar astronauts and their support personnel was delivered to the Manned Spacecraft Center on March 6, 1968. An MQF will be completely self-sufficient and will be equipped with bunks, chairs, tables, lavatory, sink and kitchen equipment, and other items required in support of debriefing and preliminary medical examinations during the brief transfer period from the recovery vessel to NASA's Lunar Receiving Laboratory at the Manned Spacecraft Center.
