MARSHALL SPACE FLIGHT CENTER, HUNTSVILLE, ALA. This photograph shows one of the first webs constructed by Arabella onboard Skylab II. Arabella was the first of the Araneus diadematus spiders to demonstrate the ability to spin a normal web in Skylab as part of Skylab Student Experiment ED-52, Web Formation in Zero Gravity. The Student Investigator for this experiment is Judith Miles of Lexington, Mass. The hardware for this experiment was developed by the Marshall Space Flight Center.
