Description/Abstract

We highlight the critical importance of one studentfaculty relationship that resulted in the develoment of a workshop called “Self and Other Awareness Program (SOAP)”. The design of the SOAP program was modeled after current corporate organizational development seminars. In a collaborative effort with a prior student of this course, our student-faculty team set out to design a mini-curriculum to address the needs of this population of business students. The program has met with a significant measure of success and we anticipate a positive response as we further develop this content for future sessions.
