Florida Statewide Symposium: Best Practices in Undergraduate Research

The University of Central Florida and Valencia College invite faculty, administrators, and professional staff to participate in a two-day symposium focused on strengthening and developing undergraduate research. All of Florida's public and private 4-year universities and state colleges are invited to participate in this, the seventeenth annual event. Proposals for presentations on any aspect of undergraduate research, including (but not limited to): best practices in undergraduate research, research on undergraduate research, resources for developing strong research programs, networking between campuses, and current challenges in undergraduate research. Since this year's conference is jointly hosted by UCF and Valencia, presentations on research collaborations or programs between two-year colleges and four-year institutions are particularly welcome.

When: October 18 and 19, 2024
Where: University of Central Florida and Valencia College's shared campus in downtown Orlando, Florida
Submission Deadline: September 2
Registration Deadline: September 20
