Description/Abstract
Three years ago I developed a new philosophy and program for my three-dimensional foundation classes. I call it Ad Lab (Advanced Design Lab). In three years Ad Lab has generated over $220,000.00 in income with clients such as Hard Rock Park, Seminole County (FL) Harley Davidson, Harris Rosen Hotels and Resorts, and others. Participants will learn about the benefits of integrating teaching principles with clients and tangible outcomes in a competitive environment. As an institution are we engaged in true interdisciplinary experiences or are we still bound by the traditional boundaries of departments and colleges?
