The 2026 Florida Statewide Symposium: Best Practices in Undergraduate Research will be held October 16–17 in Orlando, Florida. Hosted by the University of Central Florida and Rollins College at UCF Downtown, the two-day symposium will bring together faculty, administrators, and professional staff from Florida’s public and private universities and state colleges to share best practices, build connections, and strengthen undergraduate research across the state.

Organized in partnership with the Florida Undergraduate Research Association, the symposium provides a statewide forum for exchanging ideas, highlighting successful approaches, and advancing undergraduate research opportunities for students throughout Florida.
