Airport emergency response team training: A virtual solution
Abstract
Training systems that facilitate the assessment of team performance allow for feedback to training participants. One such training medium is virtual reality (VR), which can provide both post-training, as well as real-time, feedback. VR was used as a training tool for airport emergency response and rescue crews. Airport emergency response task that would benefit most from VR training are delineated.
