Title
Development Of Chalcogenide Glasses For Use In Near-Infrared Planar Waveguide Applications
Abstract
AsSSe chalcogenide glasses were developed for use in near-infrared planar waveguide applications. These glasses exhibit fast response times, low linear and multiphoton absorption in the wavelength of use. They can also be easily doped and fabricated in film of fiber form. The results of the experiments examining the variation in such species and their affect on properties in bulk and film glass samples are discussed.
