Adaptive Reed-Solomon Coding For Wireless Atm Communication
Abstract
A new adaptive shortened Reed-Solomon (ASRS) coding for wireless ATM communication is proposed. The scheme enhances the existing variable shortened RS coding by adding changeable generator polynomial to provide the needed redundancy, thus maximizing the system bandwidth efficiency and application flexibility.
