Strategy Description
This strategy uses AI as a planning partner to help instructors design reading-based assignments that move beyond traditional quizzes by emphasizing analysis, interpretation, and reflection on textbook chapters. By providing AI with key themes and learning objectives, instructors can quickly generate structured prompts and rubrics that assess insight, use of evidence, and clarity of reasoning. The approach encourages deeper student engagement with readings while allowing instructors to customize and maintain oversight of the assignment and evaluation process.
