Students co-create the syllabus guidelines on Generative AI use by critically reflecting on when they think it is appropriate to use Generative AI for class after watching informative videos on the mechanisms and resources required for Generative AI to work.

About the Author

Dr. Janet Mannheimer Zydney is a Professor in Instructional Design and Technology at the University of Cincinnati.  Her area of research is on the use of technology-based scaffolding to promote critical thinking and problem solving.
